Service Writer/After Sales Consultant

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • The Service Writer greets customers in-person, online, or over the phone and helps assists them with any questions they may have, in a friendly and professional manner.
  • The Service Writer relays routine maintenance, specialty, or general service needs the customer may have and helps them fully understand those services.
  • The Service Writer accurately and efficiently writes up service orders, keeping in communication with the customer throughout the process.
  • The Service Writer coordinates with the service technicians to ensure estimates are accurate and scheduled appropriately.
  • The Service Writer works with the parts department to verify necessary parts are available for service work, minimizing wait times.
  • The Service Writer spends quality time building relationships with customers and informing them of every step in the process.
  • Other jobs as requested by Service Manager
 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years minimum experience service writing
  • Experience with Windows based products, and able to learn industry-specific software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outgoing personality and ability to build relationships
  • Punctual and reliable
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to acceptably pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

Agri Center is looking for an experienced Farm Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Recondition, repair, assemble, and service farm equipment as coordinated with the Service Manager.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed promptly, so parts may be ordered, and work can be scheduled as soon as possible.
  • Perform inspections as needed.
  • Accurately document work performed.
  • Check and report any shortages or malfunctions to Service Manager.
  • Perform accurately and efficiently to ensure timely repairs and/or delivery.
  • Ability to recognize and suggest any additional repairs needed to Service Manager and/or Customer.
  • Position requires some travel, approximately 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. repeatedly.
  • Stay up to date on product bulletins and technical product changes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and work in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as determined by Service Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment.
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
  • Collaborates well with others and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn recent technology, repair, and service procedures.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn in-house software.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Parts Counter Representative
 
Agri Center is looking for a Parts Counter Representative to join our growing team.  At Agri Center, the Parts Counter Representative provides exceptional customer service through the selling of parts and assists in inventory management.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Interact with all contacts in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Provide needed parts solutions to customers.
  • Prepare quotes for price and availability to internal and external customers.
  • Assist Parts Manager in analyzing existing inventory levels, customer demand, and market trends to maintain appropriate and profitable inventory balance.
  • Assist with returns and warranty procedures, including filing and tracking claims, and following up with claims.
  • May assist with shipping/receiving and loading/unloading equipment.
  • Assist in stocking shelves and cabinets.
  • Additional responsibilities as determined by Parts Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Professional telephone manners.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, through face-to-face, telephone, and online sales.
  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales.

  • Meet and respond to the needs of customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate high degree of knowledge of powersports equipment, parts, and accessories in order to provide information and solutions to current and potential customers.
  • Demonstrate talent for bargaining and negotiating while ensuring all sales practices are congruent with company policies, mission, vision and core values.
  • Establish, maintain, and conduct ongoing analysis of customer profiles in order to identify and act upon trends, market requirements, and potential business opportunities.
  • Review customer accounts to ensure payments are within approved credit policy and perform collection functions as required.
  • Participate in trade shows, including developing promotional themes, booth layout, set up and show attendance.
  • Promptly respond to requests of administrative and managerial staff.

Qualifications:
  • Previous sales experience required, sales in construction equipment preferred.
